Most BirdsEye functionality is available to all users, but certain premium features require a regional or world membership. These premium features include more checklists for species on the Rare Bird Alert, the ability to search for notables up to 250 miles from your current location, and unlimited Favorite Locations. You can also view bird lists for any month of the year and download content for offline use.

In addition to regional memberships, BirdsEye offers a World membership that grants access to all birds on earth and other features.
